Mobile Device Integration

 

Whilst laptops are still the best way to record data via a keyboard, today's modern, internet connected devices such as tablets and smart phones give us so much more flexibility and effectiveness than was previously available.

 

For example, a smartphone is probably the best way to take photographs whilst surveying a customer's property, but to get those images back to base in a sensible and ordered manner can be a time-consuming job, both on-site for the representative, and back in the office for the admin staff.  

 

Integrating the correct device for a particular job is a major benefit of a bespoke CRM.. for our Survey Photos example, it means that all have to do, is when you have internet connectivity on the smartphone (may be on-site, or may be later) logon to the CRM, call up the customer's reference, and the CRM will access your phone's image library (or camera directly) and you simply tick the appropriate images.

 

These are then loaded directly into the customer's folder on the CRM, labelled accordingly and instantly available for anyone who has access to view.
